Drink Selection – 3/5 – Their focus seems to be more on coffee/espresso than on flavoured drinks, but they do have your standard tea lattes. I didn’t rate them lower because they got bonus points for having seasonal drink specials including a pumpkin spiced latte with real pumpkin and maple, a smores mocha, a hojicha latte, and a hot chai cider. All of which sound delicious!

Drink Quality – 4/5 - Finally! A good pumpkin spice latte! Now, this latte did not blow me out of the water, but it was creamy and flavourful. It had the coffee flavour of the espresso without being overpowering or bitter because of the frothy, creamy, well-steamed milk. It was not overly sweet, but I wouldn’t say that detracted from the drink. The pumpkin spice flavour was prominent and clearly the central focus of the drink. It tasted like it was home-made, or at least a sauce rather than a syrup (which is the only right way to do a PSL in my opinion!). It was just the right amount of pumpkin and just the right amount of cinnamon and nutmeg. Really made me feel the fall vibes, and I would go back for another!

Snack Selection – 3/5 - Small snack selection, but in a nice glass case. 3 Croissant options, 2 scone options, 2 muffin options, and 2 cookie options. I will say that despite the options looking good, no option was overly creative/interesting. I had somewhat of a hard time choosing not because there were multiple options which piqued my interest, but because I was somewhat bored with the choices. They also had a few heartier options on the menu, which included a few variations of things on toast and a variety of flavoured oat meals. I thought that was interesting, but nothing seemed so unique or tasty that I would plan to order something like that in the future.

Snack Quality – 5/5 – Wow! I got a blueberry muffin, and it was Delicious with a capital D. It was moist and sweet and light and fluffy. The flavour was basically perfect for a blueberry muffin as far as I’m concerned. It tasted similar to Starbuck’s blueberry muffin (which despite me not being a fan of them as a company, did excel in certain areas taste-wise, and their blueberry muffin was one of them). The barista offered to warm it up for me, which added to the deliciousness, I generally like a warm pasty! She also mentioned that on the weekends the pastries are delivered fresh each morning, which is good to know!

Overall Vibes – 3/5 – The vibes here are decent. It’s minimalist without being too stark/soulless. It has a clear vibe/vision and although it’s not my favourite (I prefer a cozy coffee shop), I do think they did well on making a cohesive vibe.

Further notes – I ordered a small size drink, and it was actually SMALL. Think kids sized at Starbucks. I do appreciate that their small is actually small, but would prefer if the price reflected that, as almost $6 seems quite a lot for that size. I’m also pretty sure this coffee shop is part of a small chain as they list a few other locations in Toronto. They also have a small vending machine outside their front door with dog biscuits in it that I thought was fun!
